Supria Kakkar

Supriya Kakkar has expertise in complex real estate and commercial transactions, as well as general corporate and securities law. She has handled a wide variety of secured and unsecured commercial transactions, including asset-based loans and formula lines of credit, and she has extensive experience in secured transactions pertaining to alternative investment properties including interests in hedge funds, REITS, interest rate swaps and other derivatives products.

Before joining the firm, Supriya served as senior counsel at Wells Fargo Bank in the commercial credit group where she advised bankers in regional commercial banking and wealth management offices across the western United States. Prior to joining the Wells Fargo law department, Supriya was in private practice providing corporate and securities counsel to public companies, start-up companies, private equity firms and venture capital firms. Supriya began her legal career as an attorney at AlliedSignal (now known as Honeywell), where she negotiated supplier contracts with both domestic and international commercial and military aerospace companies.

Supriya is a 1994 graduate of University of California, Irvine and a 1997 graduate of University of California, Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco.
