Aundrea L. Smith represents management in employment disputes and provides advice to employers in human resources matters. She has substantial experience litigating single-plaintiff employment lawsuits.

Ms. Smith has litigated numerous cases involving allegations of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, employment torts and claims in both state and federal courts, as well as in mediation. She has extensive deposition and law and motion experience. Ms. Smith advises clients on an array of employment law and workplace issues and assists employers in proactively developing workplace policies, procedures and handbooks. She also provides sexual harassment and other training for California employers.

Prior to joining Sanchez & Amador, Ms. Smith was an associate with the international law firms of Reed Smith LLP and Thelen LLP. She earned dual undergraduate degrees in Economics and Political Science from Pepperdine University in 2002, and her Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California in 2005. As a law student, Ms. Smith served as a judicial extern to the Hon. John L. Segal, Judge of the Los Angeles County Superior Court and, as a volunteer with her school’s employment law clinic, provided advice and training to community non-profit organizations.

Ms. Smith is admitted to practice in all courts of the State of California, the United States District Courts for the Central and Northern Districts of California, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. She is a member of the California Bar Association, as well as the National Employment Law Council and the California Minority Counsel Program.
